Welcome to Pala Flicks

Pala's first project is "Earthlings" a revolutionary new TV series for children that combines animation and live action into an educational entertainment experience for kids all over the world.  Four animated aliens come to Earth and meet four live-action children.  Together the aliens and Earthlings play games of cooperation, explore the world, sing, dance, exercise and have wonderful adventures.

Pala Flicks has been created to produce socially conscious content for television, films, web, and interactive media.  Named after the isle paradise in Aldous Huxley's book "Island" the endeavor is the budding dream of Greg Acuna. Based in Goa, on the west coast of India, the company plans on reaching out to creative people around the planet in an effort to forge cooperation, artistic vision and hope for our world.

Casting and principal photography for the pilot episode of show was recently completed in Los Angeles with Mia Frampton, Alec Hanna, Jadzia Pittman and Sonny Rodriguez playing the live-action kids in the show.  Animation services are being provided by Frameboxx Animation in Mumbai.  The team of almost fifty is scheduled to complete animation by the end of July and post-production by mid-September in time for MIP Junior in Cannes.

"Earthlings" has appeared on the cover "Animation Today" magazine, which includes the article "Earthlings - The Dream" about how the project is trying to change the world.
